Savee.com and what’s next

Back in 2015, before a single pixel of Savee was designed, we were already dreaming about what it could be. A home for the things you want to keep — the images, the ideas, the sparks that make you want to create.

Back then, the name we had in mind was simple: Save It. We loved the way it said exactly what the product would do. But the domain name was taken, and we were just two people with an idea, so we improvised. We became savee.it — a little play on words, a little nod to our original idea.

Over time, we dropped the “IT.” It was cleaner, more us. Just Savee. But that dream of having savee.com never really went away. It felt like the true home for what we were building.

For years, we tried. We reached out. We waited. And last week, it finally happened: Savee.com is ours.

Why this matters

To most people, a domain name might just be a URL. But for us, it’s more than that. It’s a statement. It’s a sign that we’re here for the long run, building something that’s not just a tool, but a place where millions of creatives come together to save and share inspiration.

A new phase for Savee

This isn’t just a cosmetic change. Savee has grown from a moodboard tool into something bigger:
An aggregator for everything you want to save. Images, videos, links, text, even Slack channels.

We’ve got big plans. The kind of plans that will make Savee an even better place for creatives to collect, organize, and return to the ideas that matter most. And having Savee.com feels like the perfect way to mark the beginning of this next chapter.
