Savee turned 9 this summer. Our homepage says "Built by immigrants in America." That's exactly what happened.

The idea came when I moved to New York in 2015. Ramon and I wanted a place to save the things we love, so we built one. The launch happened two years later, from a lake house in California, with our kids on our laps. Very professional operation.

New York, where it started.

5,000 people came in the first week and saved half a million images. Today, 1.4 million people call Savee home.

An early version of Savee.

Oh, and we did all of it with full-time jobs. Savee was nights and weekends for 7 years. We only made the jump two years ago.

Field testing.

This year we rebuilt the app from the ground up. Portfolios is about to ship, so you can turn your saves into a website you're proud of. And after that: an API and MCP, so Savee can plug into everything you use.

The whole story, in one minute.

There's one more line on our homepage: don't forget to have fun.

Launch week at the lake house. Kids included.

The plan for year 10 is the same as it was for year one: build the best place to save the things you love.

We like where Savee is. We like where it's going more. See you there.
