When curation becomes your portfolio

When curation becomes your portfolio

We built a way to turn your Savee profile into a visual blog.

I am always in touch with our community and ask what's working, what isn't, and what they wish felt different. A lot of what we ship starts in those conversations.

This feature started with feedback from a designer who uses Savee as a visual blog linked from his portfolio. He pointed out that logged-out visitors could only see his most recent saves, which made the profile feel limited behind a sign-in wall.

He was right.

A while back, we limited logged-out profiles to help protect from scraping. We wanted everyone to have that protection by default without needing to think about it. But it also hid one of the best parts of Savee, people’s taste. Especially because we've heard many stories of people discovering designers, collaborators, and even jobs through someone's curation on Savee.

So we built a toggle.

Inside your settings, you'll now find Profile open to all. Turn it on, and your full profile becomes visible to anyone, no Savee account required. Leave it off, and your profile stays protected by the default limits.

Profile open to all toggle in Savee settings.

It's opt-in, your call.
